At this time of year, especially with all the terrible things that are happening these days, I’d like everyone to read this and know that if you are having doubts, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. You are important to someone.  You have changed someone’s life in a way that has made a huge difference.  You may not know it, but you have.  You will be missed more than you can imagine. Please don’t take yourself away from the people who love you and want to help you.

Jenny, The Bloggess, has a link to suicide prevention hotline numbers on her blog.  The national suicide hotline number is 1-800-273-TALK (8255).  You don’t have to be suicidal to call.  They will help and direct you to local people and organizations who can help.  Please, if you think for one second you are capable of hurting yourself, please, please, please call them.  Do it for me, a complete stranger.  I think you are worth saving.  Ask for help.  It may be the hardest thing you’ve ever done, but do it anyway.  And always remember that DEPRESSION IS A LYING BASTARD.

We are all in this together
